In 1938 the Silver Jubilee was celebrated with a Camp in Denmark and many gifts, notably the Company Colours (the gift of the Old Boys) and a Silver Mace (the gift of the 1st Epsom Company) and a review at Pembroke Fields  attended by the Lord Mayor of Birmingham.  (Below)

As the City expanded the 1st A Boys' Brigade Company started a new branch in one of the new areas in Kingstanding with both parts working in keen rivalry and comradeship.  The  14th Girls Life Brigade also started a branch in Kingstanding. Both met at Kingland Road School. A new church 'John Bunyan Hall' was built in Kingstanding and opened on 17th July  1948.

In 1961 the Kingstanding Platoon became a separate Company, the 11th Birmingham.

Below right a fanfare for the opening of the second building at Kingstanding, the new John Bunyan Baptist Church.
