The new Building was opened in 1967 by Mr Herbert C Evans, one of the Elders. Also present was (left to right) The Lord Mayor of Birmingham, The Lady Mayoress, Mr Herbert Evans - Elder Sir Donald Finnemore - Elder, Rev Hugh Butt - West Midland Baptist Association Superintendent, Mrs Evans, Mrs Butt and Alfred Shuttleworth - Elder.
